Laura Molyneux is not only my best friend, but is also my favorite textile designer. Here’s a little sneak peek of her work.

Check out Laura Mackness, a British fashion and accessories designer. It’s like Jeremy Scott and Comme Des Garcon.

THIS Los Angeles Gallery presents Home Sweet Home, a group exhibition that explores the conventions and comfort of home in a traditional gallery setting. The work exhibited is derived from the idea of “home” conjured in the mind of five young artists. Based both in Los Angeles and New York, the artists featured will be Jon Cournoyer, Michael Gigliotti, Hannah Hooper, Vanessa Prager and Annie Thornton. Through the use of the entire gallery space, these artists will bring a youthful, fresh and evocative spin on their personal notions home.

I absolutely love the Joanna Newsom album cover as much as I love the album. Andy Samburg is one lucky guy.

“The world’s first street art disaster movie”…
Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles appointed Jeffrey Deitch, the well-known gallerist and art dealer, as its new director. Deitch, known for his non-traditional exhibitions and outside of the box forward thinking has a lot to offer. Thank god there is finally something exciting happening on west coast in the art-world (nice move MOCA). There are mixed feelings about this choice circulating around, but there is no doubt that this is going to change the Los Angeles art scene and in my opinion for the better. This is definitely a loss for New York and we’ll just have to wait and see what happens to Deitch Projects.
